Ha! that reminds me of when i was flying to Siuna, Nicaragua (a tiny mining town) from Managua in a little 6 seater plane. One of my flightmate's carry-ons was a cake (!). Not in a box either. It was a handmade cake from a bakery in Managua (they don't have cake in Siuna) on a peice of cardboard. No plastic covering or anything. It sat in the guy's lap the whole time, and I was scared to death it was going to take a dive to the floor at every moment.
